Cotswold Meditation & Mindfulness Retreats 

Our retreats have been designed to allow participants to settle the busy monkey mind and through that settling, natural inherent clarity arises, easing into relaxation and positive inner change and developing a stronger connection to YOU. 
What you will Learn 
We guide meditations through Mindful Walks in nature, gentle Mind and Body Movement and create a space to so you can Eat Mindfully our deliciously prepared nutritious meals; all combining towards a positive change and to simply feel better and re-energise. 
Throughout the day are practical Guided Meditations, to help alleviate stress and cope with physical pain. You can learn all about this important awareness, and most importantly how to incorporate this into your daily life.

It can be difficult to allocate time for ourselves, which is vitally important for our overall wellbeing. 
What is a Meditation Retreat? 
The word 'Retreat' means a place to go to be alone, to get away from the 'Hustle & Bustle' and the 'Stresses of Everyday Life'. It is giving your mind a chance to quiet down from its daily routine. 
Meditation Retreats are created to provide, protected safe space to give and receive instant support and socialise with the like minded meditators and enable those to learn, deepen and absorb a meditation practice. 
In a retreat you can really escape and have nothing to do but concentrate with space for self-care, giving you the opportunity to gain a wider perspective, mental momentum, mind and body transformation with increased awareness. It is impossible to create change if you are not aware. 
Meditation is about paying attention to your surroundings, your body, your thoughts and to truly reconnect with yourself and restore your reserves.

Comprises classes on four different Meditation Techniques and how to commit to a regular practice. 
Also includes four Downloadable Meditation Audios, so you can maintain all we have learned at home. 
Retreat Day! 
The Matara Center 
Retreats will run at The Matara Centre, in the heart of the Cotswolds, with 28 acres of beautiful tranquil gardens, 14 acres now have a life of their own, continually increasing in richness and natural diversity. You will find woodlands, wetlands, flower meadows and hedgerows. 
Come and enjoy the tranquility and beauty. Take time, relax and reconnect with the natural world.
